Gynecomastia and its possible treatments

Gynecomastia is a physical disorder caused by imbalance of hormones in a male body. It appears as abnormal development of mammary glands in males. The breast enlargement in some cases comes with milk secretion from those glands. In most cases, it is the neonates, adolescence and elderly persons who are afflicted with this disease.

The main causes of Gynecomastia still remain uncertain but according to medical experts it results due to the imbalance of the sex tissue or hormones in men. For successful treatment, first and foremost task should be to diagnose the key reason behind gynecomastia. As mentioned earlier, the approach of treatment varies in case of different reasons. It could be physiotherapy, surgery or hormone treatments.

It will help the physician to choose the correct treatment from the different options available for curing this problem effectively.
