An interesting exchange between Oprah Winfrey and the famous Dr. Perricone took place on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Dr. Perricone is a Professor of Medicine at Medicine at Michigan State Univ. When you switch over to green tea, you get your caffeine, you're all set, but you will drop your insulin levels and body fat will fall very rapidly. So 10 pounds in six weeks, I will guarantee it. Oprah : I'm gonna do that. OK. That is so good! Whoo! That is great." Simply introducing tea into your diet instead of coffee will get you to lose weight. Tea has properties that promote fat oxidation. Tea has termogenic properties that naturally lead to weight loss. Chinese tea drinkers had a 157% greater fat burning results compared to green tea drinkers. An ancillary effect was an 10% increase in energy. Wuyi Tea Burns 2.5 Times MORE Calories Than Authentic Green Tea: In a new study published in the Journal of Medical Investigation, scientists from Japan's University of Tokushima School of Medicine found that people who regularly consumed this tea experienced over TWICE the calorie-burning results of those who drank the same amount of authentic Japanese green tea. Amazing! The average person needs at least 1,200 calories of food a day. This 1,200 maintains your basal rate (rate of continuous supply of some chemical or process) going. If you don't keep that basic rate in progress, your metabolism slows down. The remaining 30% is used in exercise and physical activities with roughly 10% of the caloric energy used in processing and digesting food (known as the thermic effect) Your metabolism is the key to converting food into energy.
