History is replete with the same old story. The Great pyramid in the ancient land of Egypt was built as a tomb, a burial place for the pharaoh Cheops or Khufu. But is it possible it was built by someone else for a far different reason? There over 100 pyramids through out the land of Egypt and not in one has there ever been found a mummy of a pharaoh. If the evidence of mummyless pyramids points to other considerations. What could be the possible explanation? In fact built just outside the pyramids were structures built, called mustabas, specifically for the mummy of the pharaoh. But if the pharaoh was to buried inside the pyramid why the need for a second tomb. Why the need for two tombs? Pyramid building in Egypt was the most prominent of all activities of the ancient Egyptians. But no where on any wall paintings is any record of this most prolific aspect of Egyptian life. This is no explanation for this remarkable omission. What can be made of these two missing pieces of the puzzle? Most likely the pyramids were not tombs and there were no records kept of pyramid building for a reason. Perhaps these two missing pieces are the very clues as to who and why the pyramids were built. Upon careful inspection of the dress of the priests it can be seen that their skirting is contoured in the shape of a pyramid. Why this curious remnant in the dress of the priest. What can this possible tell us about the purpose of the Great Pyramid? The dress of the priest suggests that the consuming nature of pyramid building was a sacrament. The sacrament of pyramid building was handed down thru time. It kept in memory a super natural event that launched the Egyptian belief system. Thus, it was forbidden to keep records on wall painting and even in hieroglyphics. The sacrament of pyramid building was the focal point of that colorful civilization. Pyramid building called to mind and memorialized an remarkable event in that ancient age.
